View Full Version : Childhood Sensations

Hi. Since I've been on the meds, once in a while, I get this peculiar feeling of reliving a childhood memory. It's not so much that I recall the memory, it's like I feel it.

For instance, I'll get the sensation of being a kid driving with my grandpa in his pickup truck out in the country. Or sitting at the table while my grandma made me a hamburger. Or being a kid stuck at my house in the summertime.

The sensations happen at the oddest times. Sometimes I'll be sitting at work and one will hit me. It is not a problem, in fact I like them. I was just wondering if anybody else has any similar experiences.

I have done this also. Unfortunately, mine have been of bad times. The fear is there as if it just occured all over again. I read that this is a side effect of Paxil and that's what I'm on. I don't know if it's common for other meds. Be thankful you are having good childhood memories.
