Hello everyone,
About a month ago I posted about how I was having breakthrough bleeding. My doctor switched me to Marvelon. Since I'm not having sex anymore, I'm debating if I even want to be on birth control anymore. I'm set to switch to Marvelon 28 from Tricyclen 28 in a little over a week, so I thought I would ask to see if anyone is on it and what their experiences with it have been.

I take Desogen, the US equivalent, for irregular bleeding off the pill. It serves its purpose well... my periods last 2 1/2 days. But if I didn't need it I wouldn't take it :) I do get migraines the week of my period. And the progestin in this pill has a slightly higher risk of blood clots.
