Hi. I had a serious bout of anorexia nervosa - I was severely underweight for around 3.5 years, but I was on the pill for the whole time (been on the pill for 6 years in total). Anyway, I am fully recovered from anorexia, but I binge. I have been off the pill since September last year and have not had any signs of a period. My Doctor has been playing the waiting game with me for ages. I am scared as I know that 20 - 25% of anorexics never get their periods again. All I ever wanted to do was be a Mum.

Hi. I'm a recovering ana for about 4 1/2 years now. The only way I was able to get mine back 5 years ago was through a prescription through my doc. I don't remember what kind of a med it was, but it did work. Sad to say, I think more damage was done that I thought back then. Good Luck.

My doc prescribed Provera for me...it's suppose to "kick start" your cycle. You are suppose to have a period after taking the pills.
