My dr just changed my pill from Yasmin to Diane 35. I've heard that this pill is causing more incidents of blood clots?? Does anyone know if there is any truth to this?

I'm on my first cycle of Diane 35, on my 6th day of it btw and there are not problems of blood clotting, if you mean period wise, my period got lighter.
