I'm 51 and in menopause, I haven't had a period in a year.

You know that whitishor creamy colored and creamy textured non-offensive discharge we all get from time to time especially when we would be getting our period, we would get it for a few days before our period?? Well I still get that discharge once in awhile. I won't get it for months then all of a sudden I will have it 3-4 times a day for about a week and only when I go pee, it will just plop out, it's rarely on my underwear and it's not blood-stained, and theres no odour, just white or creamy colored and creamy like texture. Is that normal?

A friend who is 61 said she used to get it too and she would sometimes get period like symptoms, the sore breasts etc for a few years after her rmenopause , then after a few years it all just stopped. I just want to know if any of you have experienced that?

 Hi! I got that same thing going on too. I'm 49 and have only had 1 period in the past year. I had my blood drawn to see if I was in menopause and Dr. said no, I'm still i "peri". I don't notice the discharge in the panties but when I urinate I see it floating in the toilet. Not really noticeable but it's there. Some days I feel a little wet and then think "oh no! this CAN"T be a period starting" and I get just some of that discharge. The boobs been hurting like crazy too. Just when I think I'm almost done with this peri stuff, it's nothing but a phantom thing.

I am 3 years post and I get that sometimes when I have period symptoms with no period.

I guess that we have cycles still with no bleeding.

Thanks for your replies! Whew I'm glad I'm not the only that gets this. I notice it when I look in the toilet too, it's rarely on my panties.

I guess this can go on for a few more years huh?
