I use to smoke I am 4 weeks smoke - free ....Yipeee!! :)

My BP was always on the high normal side nothing for me to worry about. I do have a home bp test becasue I always got white coat bp at the Dr. so I got one more for my own piece of mind .... Anway !!!

The other day I took my bp and it was 104/67 I thought that was rather low. I asked my hubby and he said well your sitting down relaxing it's fine. So now I have been keeping any eye on my bp and it just seems too low to me. all my reading were anywhere from 103-114/62-69. Pules has always been fine.
I guess the top numbers are all right but the 60's seems low. Am I worrying over nothing ? Sure I be happy with these numbers? I am wondering if me not smoking anymore has anything to do with it.

Thanks

Only if you want to live a long time. If you have a death wish, you may have a problem.

I'm not a doctor, but they say if your low BP is accompanied with no symptoms, then it's more than fine, actually, it would be rather optimum. Unless you don't have any symptom, keep it at that range.

Also, if you exercise regularly, then for sure it would be lower than normal.

Again, I'm not a doctor, so you better discuss this issue with a doctor for more peace of mind :)

My best wishes for you

yeah, you're body is also probably regulating it's pressure since smoking can actually increase your BP.. so now that you've stopped, your measurements may be your normal numbers...
