I have intermittent strabismus and very bad eye sight. This has been the case my whole life. My eyes cross and I cannot use both eyes at the same time. My problem is that my condition keeps getting worst. I'm 21 now and it it worst than ever. My eyes cross severely at times and it has become very noticeable. Also my vision has gotten dramatically worst since I was younger. I have a very strong prescription and even with my glasses I do not see 20/20. It has gotten to the point where I cannot function if I'm not wearing my glasses. In addition to that, my left eye has gotten increasingly lazy. It turns in more and I find that I'm mostly using my right eye to see.

The eye doctor tells me my case is unique and there is nothing I can do. Surgery my do more damage because of the natue of my strabismus: My eyes will move together until I focus on something, then one eye will drift inward. If I look straight ahead, my left eye will slowely drift in until it is crossed severely. I know.. its wierd. But I just feel like I have no options. Does anyone know something I don't? Please help

Or an optometrist who does binocular vision and visual training.

I'm sure something can be done... I had strabismus until last year when I had it corrected by surgery. Ironically, my little sister has developed a severe case. One of her eyes turns all the way in at all times.
