Hi all. Im a 26,female. I just had a baby 5 weeks ago via c section. Was doing well then 2 weeks ago i developed a blood clot in my left leg. Was hospitalized for that and also had a uti. While there they noticed that my blood counts were off. my white cells were high. now their back to normal but now my platelets are sky high. I had my spleen removed 4 years ago because i was in a car accident and doctor is saying this is why my cells and platelets are going crazy. After researching on the internet i was terrified that i had leukemia so my doc sent me to a hemotologist and he confirmed that i did not have leukemia..he even wrote it on my hand "no leukemia" lol. I had a blood test done yesterday and have to wait until friday for the results and im terrified it will show something bad!!

i had the same thing uti and all but i got my dvt while i was prego and still have my spleen , you smoke?
just wondering cause after all that a year later i am still on meds for my platelets being real high
but no more thinners except baby asprin
als i was 26 when it happend 27 now
