I was wondering if anyone here has Achlasia? and if so how is it being treated ? I have a HH, Gerd, Duodenitis, Esophagistis and Gastritis, My swallowing has gotten so bad over the last 3 yrs I am now down to 90 pds and pretty much on Liquids. I am seeing my GI doc again tomorrow afternoon.
I also have a 15 yrs history with Lyme disease and other inflammatory conditions and I have read that Achlasia can also be caused by these types of conditions which would make sense for me becase from the scope results my GI couldn't understand why I was having the difficulty of swallowing to the degree I'm having it.
