if you need lots of tablets to keep your blood sugar levels OK then a daily asprin may make the tablets work better, did so for me

Aprin is good for a lot of health benefits, however, if you are a bleeder I would not advise taking asprin. For many yrs. my mom was on asprin therapy bcuz her blood platelets were sticking together. Now she is being told that asprin has caused her to have eye bleeding and she has an ulcer.

She has had about three surgeries on her right eye and several on her left ey. The opthamologist is saying there is nother else he can do for her. She is also diabetic.

Well that is interesting that aspirin can make your eyes bleed. I've been taking an aspirin a day since bypass surgery to keep the blood flowing well. But I do have diabetic eye peoblems too. I guess you can't win.
My heart surgeon said the never stop taking the aspirin./ He had me on a whole 325 strength, but I have cut it down to a baby aspirin, because I had some bleeds that wouldn't stop. One when they took blood from my arm and another with an injection in my eye at the eye specialist. I haven't had any problems since I lowered the dose.
