Will this test show any gall bladder issues? She has been having terribly sharp pain in her stomach area between her breastbone and bellybutton when she eats. It's been 2 days since her test and I still don't have any results. Last night about 1-2 hours after she ate, she got another pain that makes her lay in a fetal position until it goes away. I was suspecting a stomach ulcer, but the more I read about the gall bladder, the symptoms are the same. She is only 17, slim, and a baton twirler. She has been getting these pains and seeing doctors for almost a year. I certainly don't want anything serious to be wrong, but I would like to get to the bottom of this to start helping her feel better.

No, it won't show gallbladder issues. You need an ultrasound and/or a HIDA scan for that. And her pain would be under her right ribcage, not in the stomach area, if it were gallbladder. Sounds like it very well might be an ulcer.

It sounds more like gastritis to me.
Eating usually makes pain better for ulcers.
With stomach inflammation it is irritated and causes pain.
