I previously have been on birth control for about a year 1/2 now. I stopped taking my pill for a full month and planned to take a break from it for a while. During that month, I had sex with one guy-with a condom-and that was on a wednesday. The day after (Thursday), I got my period for that month and it was fine. I then re-started taking my pill this past sunday. therefore, I have been taking the pill now for 4, almost 5 days now. I know the pill is not considered 'effective' until a week after, right? Last night I had sex with my ex boyfriend, with a condom.

I'm just freaking out a little bit I guess. I have been extremely upset and stressed out from stuff going on in my life and this on top of it doesn't help. I guess I am just worried about the actuality of pregnancy..but we did use a condom. I think stress is really taking a toll on me. I feel tired and sick all the time. Any suggestions/advice? =\

Yes, it takes 7 days of perfect use for the pill to be fully effective.

As far as a pregnancy possibility, there is always a chance. However, your chances are decreased by using the condom, and assuming that it didn't break/tear/leak, your chances of pregnancy are still pretty slim.
