Some of us were saying how it's good that we can laugh at ourselves when we freak out about something - esp. health/dying stuff... so I wanted to share my latest!

BF & I have decided that we'd like start eating better, so I made whole wheat pasta with organic tomato sauce. I tasted the sauce a few times as I was cooking.

Meanwhile, my head was itchy and I had a red spot near my ear. I thought "OHMIGOSH - I'm having an allergic reaction to this sauce!" Sure enough my throat got "itchy" and I thought maybe I couldn't breathe right.... and ohmigosh food allergies can kill you!

So I refused to eat the food with BF. Instead I had Whopper Malted Milk Balls for dinner, LOL

The funniest part of all - I used a new hair product yesterday a.m. & any normal person would have realized their skin was just sensitive to it - no biggie. :o

Hope this gave some of you a chuckle!

Sorry to have caused a craving!! I just love those darn things......

Perhaps, deep down, I was just looking for an excuse to have the Whoppers for dinner instead of the healthy pasta meal ?? LOL!!! :jester:

I'm still afraid of the pasta though - there is a lot leftover & there's no way I'm going to even try it :p

I also thought she meant a BK Whopper and im trying to diet lol but yeah malted milk balls are great too I always chose them over popcorn at the movies.

I am not sure if anyone else will find this funny but I did and I bet im far from the only to experiance this one....
I felt something crawling on my back it truely felt like a spider or tick and I have a major fear of ticks and lyme disease as we get tons and tons of deer ticks here in east TN anyway so I feel this "crawling" and cant reach the area so im jumping around and trying to bend like gumby to get to the crawling and started to panic ..breathing heavy, sweating, trembling ya know the whole 9 well my husband gets home (i didnt hear him come in) so of course in the state of mind im in I jolt at his voice and then im mad because he scared me more I said "THERE IS A TICK ON MY BACK I JUST CANT GET TO IT IM GONNA GET LYME DISEASE!"So he says "ok look calm down I will get it off" he lifts my shirt and there it is the "crawling" he pulls it out shows it to me "heres your tick" it was A STRAND OF MY HAIR! LMBO sheesh I was a total panic wreck over a strand of hair of course my husband loved that you could imagine

My most embarrasing anxiety issue was quite a few years back. I suffer with a terribly nervous stomach and i was staying with my aunt as my parents had gone on holiday.
Id been worked up about them flying etc and that night i started to get really bad pains in my stomach.
My aunt called for a doctor (at which point i thought i was seriously dying).
He came and started pressing on my stomach (asking "does this hurt" etc) when all of a sudden I let out one almighty fart (the doc nearly fell of the sofa and my aunt nearly had heart attack) and this intense pain suddenly went away.

He said, as i was so anxious id swallowed too much air causing one great big build up of gas in my stomach.

To this day my aunt still tells everyone about the time i nealy blew the doctor through the back door!

ps, I was craving for a BK whopper after reading this post, but thought better of it!
