Hi- I am on 10mg paxil/day and wondering if anyone knows if I can mix aspirin like exedrine with paxil.

I took almost anything I wanted while on Paxil - Advil, cold meds, pepto, etc.. and never had a problem.

Excedrin has quite a bit of caffiene, but you should be fine... unless you are prone to caffiene making you extra nervous/anxious.

Just my opinion - it's always best to call your pharmacist for ANY drug interaction questions :)

thanks zoso- I tend to get migraines and the only thing that works is the exedrine with aspirin and since being on paxil havent used it because of the warning on one of my paxil bottle labels saying to watch out for aspirin while taking paxil

I have never been an aspirin user, so if there is was any type of aspirin warning for Paxil - I guess I didn't worry about it.

I'd either call your MD or your pharmacist before taking anything. Drug interactions can be scary stuff!
