This is the second month that I was on Clomid and I went in today to have an ultrasound and it came up with no follicles. Last month I only had 1 so they are strating me on Metformin and Progresteron for the rest of this month and into the next. Has anyone taken this before and if so what kind of side effects did you have from it. Also did it work to get you ovulating?

Hi I have a 12yr old son that I concieved with clomid it took 3 months. Never concieved again untill this Jan baby due in Oct. I took Metformin for type 2 diabeties no one told me that it helps women regulate cycles and to ovulate regularily, Imagen my surprise when I found out I was pregnant. I was on metformin 500mg 3x aday for 10 months and then I was pregnant. never thought I'd have another. good luk I'v heard that Metformin works for alot of people but everyone I'v talked to it has taken close to a yr
