I have just recently started using BC pills. I have a few questions about it. Is it safe if my boyfriend and I don't use a condom but pull out?? Or is it alright without pulling out and no condom? The birth control pill Yasmin has the reputation to help clear skin. As far as using condoms you should read the little booklet that came with the pill to find out how long before the pill becomes effective.

The pill is 99.9% effective when used properly. If you're comfortable with those odds, then don't use a condom. There is never any harm with the "pull out" method, although realize that this isn't completely effective either. However, if you're using the pill perfectly, pregnancy is highly unlikely.

It's common to have an acne outbreak when first starting any pill. You need to give any brand several full cycles until the acne calms itself.
