Hi, has anyone had any luck with natural remedies for anxiety? I know that there is an abundance of product out there. JUst curious I guess because I saw a kiosk today that had aromatherapy for anxiety. Anybody?

I think it might be worth trying if you have reason to believe it will work for you. I hope someday to be able to use aroma therapy and other natural things to control my anxiety.

As for now, I have to rely on meds, but I'm getting better. I have a few things going on that increase my depression and anxiety right now. Hopefully, I can get passed that. Please have a good day/night and take care...Connie

I am so happy and over joyed that Medication was not the ONLY way out of this. So please by all means, if you are able and you do not take meds and don't want to start, please be sure to try a Relaxation CD with the breathing technique.
Get a relaxation CD that you prefer, one that you like (soft water falling, birds, a soft voice etc.)
Breathing technique is: Inhale through your nose expanding your abdomen for the count of one -one thousand two one thousand, and exhale through your slightly separated lips for the count of one -one thousand to four one thousand.
Just remember you will be fine, you will NOT die from this, it will NOT hurt you, it will pass. We make ourselves get all anxious.....

I have found help with treating my anxiety with different teas. Chamomile is my favorite. When I feel myself getting stressed I drink a cup before the anxiety can catch up with me. I also do the deep breathing when needed and it helps tremendosly. Your right there are many many suplements out there for anxiety. Which one will work best for you may take time to figure out. I know around here we have holistic doctors so I am soon to make an appointment with him. Usually insurance dosen't pay for them but atleast you can talk to him about herbal suplements that could work for you anxiety or depression. Good luck . I refuse at the moment to take meds. That is my preferance and everyone has there own.
