my little boy who is 8 months old was recently addmitted to hospital with broncilitias,,he was there for 5 days,before he was taken in he had been being sick for around ten days,,he seemed to get better when he got out the hospital but for the last 5 days hes not been keeping any food down,3 days ago we took him back to the A+E again because we were getting very concerned since he has lost a lot of weight and was not keeping any food down,he also has terrible dioreaha and when he passes wind its very smelly,the doc at the hospital didnt seem very concerned and said it was prob a virus and to keep him of solid foods for a while and just keep him on his bottle.what could be wrong with him? we have not changed his diet but im getting increasingly concerened because of the weight loss,,hes also looking very pale.

I would tak ehim to see his pediatrician or another Dr. I don't think an 8 month old should be losing weight. 5 days is a long time for him not to be keeping food down. He probably did pick up some sort of virus maybe even at the hospital. But 5 days is just too long IMO.
