Since I've yet to see a GI Specialist and don't have a diagnosis - I'm wondering if it's dangerous to continue taking the Aciphex. I may be waiting another month which would make 3 months taking this medication based only on symptoms I described to a primary care doctor.

No, not especially dangerous, they do up your risk for pneumonia, food poisoning, and pernicious anemia though.

I've been on Prevacid for 3 years now with no complications..
