I take .5 mg K every night before sleep for about 2 months. I want to stop. should I taper this and how would you reccomemnd?

cut the tablets into halves and quarters and slowly taper over say 2 weeks, your dose isnt large
IMO these benzos shouldnt be taken every night before bed as you may eventually lose the ability to fall asleep naturally, some docs feel the dose lasts for the next 24 hours but I dont

so I should do 3/4 for 4 days and then 1/2 for 4 days and 1/4 for 4 days?
Do you think the withdrawel will be bad?

I took Klonopin .5 mg twice a day for 2 years and stopped with no real problems it is a very small dose so you should be alright yes keep cutting the pill .If I remember right I cut mine in half and took half for about 4 to 5 days and then I skipped a day to see how it went it went good so I stopped.Do it the way you feel comfortable with but yes cut the pills dont just stop cold turkey
