I posted on here about 3 weeks ago. My doctor found a calcified lymph node in my armpit. I was also having pain in the left side of my chest. I have started researching lymphoma and have found that I have a few of the symptoms. I, on occasion, get night sweats and am only 35, so it's not menopause. I am always tired. The worst thing is that for the past 2 years, I have had an unexplained itching. I've been to the dermatologist 3 times and they can find no reason for it. They thought I might be anemic, which I'm not. I do have a nodule on my thyroid, but at this point, am not overproducing hormone. So, that's in check. The itching is so intense that I feel like my skin is crawling. I have itched every second of every day for the 2 years. Some days it's worse than others.

So, I have an appointment to get another xray in 6 days. What do you think my course of action should be? Should I go ahead and get a biopsy or not? I don't know what to do.

tell your doctor about the symptoms you have. A biopsy is really the quickest way to get a diagnosis about that lymph node.

Thanks for your reply. I've decided that when I see the dr. on Monday, that's what I'm going to request, even if he doesn't. I just want to make sure. Thanks again!
