hi, im 30 yrs old and having some serious menstral problems..I have uncontrolled hypothyroidism at the moment and being tested for cushings..
Any way for the last 4 months my periods have been way off..I bled for one month heavy with very minor clots, skipped a month and the last 2 months I have been "bleeding med w/o clots".. its going in a strange pattern spotting,bleeding,stop , spot and bleed some more ...I went to a gyno shes testing my hormones before she does anything..Plus she said she cant do a pap b/c of the bleeding.."ive never had a pap"
Does this sound like cancer? Im scarred to death about this..What are the signs? take care

Maybe these symptoms are caused by your other health problems? Ask your doctor about getting an ultrasound - if she can't do a pap for you. Paps are not too bad, and an ultrasound is totally non-invasive. Hope everything goes well for you.

Dont worry too much, there are lots of reasons why a womans period can become irregular with less or more bleeding. Especially if you are already having hormonal problems.

Also worrying can make your periods irregular.

I have had a lot of gyno problems, went as far as having to have a leep done. Dont worry too much, you will be fine and im sure once your other health problems are sorted the periods will settle down :)

Thanks everyone for your replies..Since I have last posted on the unterine board..I was put on progesterone cream again to stop the periods also to stay on it until my progesterone levels come up..Well they stopped alright and decided not to even come back..lol
Im scheduled to have a pap next week..I was suppose to had went May 1st but like an idiot I chickened out... :rolleyes:
