View Full Version : Women's Ultra Mega and Blood Pressure

Hi:
I took 'Women's Ultra Mega' which has Iron and 'Iodine(as potassium Iodide)' for the past two weeks, as believing that this multi-vitamin is superior to the other multi-vitamin on which I was for the past years.

However, I started to develop a slight 'dizziness,' along with some 'diet change.' Afterwards, I got a terrible nauseous feelings that caused me throw-up in the middle of night, although I stopped completely taking this multi-vitamin on that day.

For the past several days, I still felt 'head-ache' that similar to 'head-cold,' but I know this is not truly headache, as seeing that I could not focus when I was working in the kitchen and felt everything went on 'circle.' At that time, I was so terrified that I started to faint and going to lose a grip on the floor.

My question is:
In the past, I was dx'ed with High Blood Pressure, but with med. I was quite stabilized. However, with this 'Iodion' and 'Iron,' my blood pressure suddenly started to change, either 'high' or 'low?'

Also, if I need a med. for my 'slight' High-Blood Pressure, what form of High-Blood Pressure med. would be good?
Because, in the past when I was on High-Blood Pressure med., 'Diovan HCT' 80 mg. caused me wanting to eat a lot of 'salty' foods? Then, I do not want to 'Diovan HCT' again.

Thanks for your opinion, suggestions, inputs and any other advices on this regard would be GREATELY appreciated.
