Diane you are enough to make anyone smile. I did great when I was out. I even managed to get a perm today. The lexapro is helping even more and I love it because I don't feel drugged, or that feeling you get that lets you know you're just not yourself.
I hope you're doing well, but I have a feeling you are. You're great at making people feel better. Now we can never let you leave this board. lol You're a prisoner.
Hope to talk to you again soon. Take care and keep showing all of those good qualities you have..........Hugs....Connie :bouncing:
Even at my worst I was cracking dry jokes. Even when it seemed telephone poles were walking....I said something about them walking themselves to the psych ward. Which was of course where *I* needed to be. That was a lesson in valuing meds and what they can do if only you'll let them (which up until then I was having no part of, thank you verrah much). I've noticed a number of people with humor despite it all. ;)
See, you're going to be a prisoner here too. The momma prisoner, here to be yer board mother (not to be confused with mother board). We can swap back and forth on that, as I think we're close in age. (but I'll never tell)
(edit: I'm "mNUT" for a reason, you know!) ;)

What would the world do is we weren't wondering through the posts on this site?? lol I imagine most are getting tired of seeing my name, but I'm on a mission. lol
You stay up as late as I do. Good thing my kids are raised so I can sleep until around 9:00 in the morning. My husband thinks my fingers are glued to these keys. ( I think they might be, goo )
I stayed home today, but I'm going out again tomorrow and looking forward to it. I'm a changed woman!!
Oh well, humor has gotten me through a lot, and I bet it has you, too.
Be good (hehe) and take care........Connie

<chuckles heartily at the "be good"> You know, we could be accused of being med-pushers around here! And yes, you DO sound like a changed woman, and in such a short time! I remember when you started posting and when you started finally taking the Lexapro that you had (in the collection of other meds you'd gotten but never started). Yahoooooooooo!
I may be up as late as you, but I'm also five hours behind you here in HI, you know. My kids are 12 & 17, so raised enough to feed themselves while I too am glued on here. I have to tune in to ...was it...Wife Swap (?) this week to see what happens with the mom who was glued to her computer Star Wars game. I'm not playing games online, but surely am on here quite a bit.
BTW, I'm sure people are NOT getting tired of seeing your name or reading your caring replies.

I'm on duty early tonight. Darn, not only do you live in Hawaii, but you get four extra hours, too. Well, that's ok  <trying not be jealous> I have a giant igloo in Alaska. HUMP!! Bet you want to visit. It gets old feeding those dogs when it's 40 below, but as transportation goes, you can't beat it. Dog food costs less than gasoline.
Well, I'm gonna patrol the board and see if there is someone I can help. I really don't know what I'd so without the info and people i have met here.
Be good <what a joke, huh??>. After all, you're my friend.
Have a good one...................Connie :bouncing:

You crack me up, Connie. Alaska, HA!!! I'm psychic and think that maybe you live in IN. ;)
Not only do I have 4 more hours than you, I'm still asleep when you're up so darn early!! And this weekend, if you "spring forward" it'll be FIVE hours difference! You're going to have to move your board shift to a little earlier!
Don't be too jealous right now. It's not just raining here--it's been like freaking MONSOONS for apparently 40 days and nights now (except for Monday). Mold is growing everywhere!!! I am rusting! and moldy. (pooooooooooooooooooor me!!)
:jester: <--mNUT :D
[edit: going to go watch the TH nite line up for once!!! If the rain doesn't cut the satelite out again and again and again.]

Diane,
I not only live in IN, but the weather here is teasing us. We had two days that were real nice, now snow for tomorrow. waaaaaaa Just not a happy camper now.
I didn't realize how many hrs you were behind me. (pretending not to care, but sticking my tongue out.) On top of that you have the ocean. Right??
I saw a lot of knew people on the board tonight. It's so nice to see them. Don't know if I can help much, but trying makes me feel good.
Guess I'll go watch a little TV before bed. It's almost midnight here.
Rest well tonight.........Connie

Connie,
We were teased today too, with 3 hours of sunshine, after all day of horrid dense gray and rain like I've never seen. As for the ocean...for a few days last week, well CNN had coverage of the literal poop being dumped because of a line break, into a canal that goes out to the ocean directly beside Waikiki. Rain, and poop happens, even in paradise.

Hi d,
I remember seeing the horrible damage on CNN and our local news, too. If I'm not mistaken, I believe they said some of the earthen dams were over 100 years old. I sure many people suffered great losses.
I have to say IN is a fairly safe place, at least the part I'm in. We live in a valley, so if there is a tornado, it usually skips over us. We have had one in my lifetime. The only thing we do really well here is grow corn.
TC and once again...Be Good :bouncing:

Check out the Honolulu Advertiser online to see some pics--reader photos underneath the yellow rain geared guys...and in the story with those guys.
We still grow pineapples here, no more sugar cane though. It's usually very safe here too. The last hurricane was 12 years ago (I think) and the one previous to that another 10 years earlier. The last tsunami was about .5-1' high.
And guess what!?!?!?!!?!?!! It's beennnnnn sunny today!! I'm feeling invigorated again, yippeeee!! Man, all that dark can really get to a person.

WOW!!
I'll never complain about the weather here again!! After checking out the site you told me about, I felt so bad. That's a force to be dealt with. It's amazing how fast things can change. You live in a beautiful little area of the world, but I guess Mother Nature doesn't like to be messed with.
I'm going out for a bit. Took Bob a lot of talking to get me to agree. I feel a little under the weather.
I'm sure you will be good and stay out of trouble. lol
TC...........Connie
All kidding aside, I'm glad I found this site. So many good people.

I don't know, Connie. I'm going to the library. I can think of all kinds of trouble to get in there. Don't you just love to hear them "shush, shush"? I'm going to run through the place, with scissors, open wide and pointing forward!! I'm going to use my outside voice! I'm going to misfile the books that I look at (oh, maybe not--I hate when I can't find a book and it says it's there in the library).
I hope you and dh had a nice time while you were out. Hopefully your doc will have some helpful input for you tomorrow and you'll pop back up like a Weeble (Weebles wobble but they don't fall down) and that cheery woman you found recently!
you TC too, glad to know you!
 (looks innocent, huh??) :D muahahaha

Hi Mizzy
I always read your posts, even if it's something I really can't reply. You help so many people. I think that's the whole idea of this site.
You're open and fun, I can tell. We have to have a sense of humor or we would never get through all of these things.
Too bad we can't all meet someday, but the privacy is the thing that makes this site good. I do feel like many of you are family. (I always brought home stray dongs when I was a kid. lol)
Well, I guess I'll check out the board and see what has been posted. I just got online. TC my friend and the best of luck to you. Post again.....Connie
