My fiance was dx w/HBP approx 6 years ago...since then he has been on meds to regulate his pressure. Within the past two weeks he has noticed that his pressure has been consistently low 115/70 (approx)...concerned about a spike and then rapid drop in his pressure the other night, we took him to the e/r...they did an ekg and it was normal...no abnormal rhythms. Still concerned that his pressure was low and his pulse weak (pulse ranges anywhere from 54-81) he went to his family doctor yesterday and they took him off his HBP meds and told him to monitor his pressure and if it got high take the meds otherwise leave them alone. When I got home last night his pressure was about 122/75 and his pulse rate was about 65...this morning when he woke up he took his pressure AGAIN, it was 105/70 and his pulse rate was about 54...right before I came to work he took it again and it was 122/77 and his pulse was 66...he has been complaining of fatigue and some dizziness...is there cause for concern? if not how do I quell his fears? if there is cause for concern what tests should doctors be running to check the health of his heart?

Also he is 28 yrs old, 6'2'' and weighs 225 lbs...he is moderately active (as a police officer it's hard to sit still on the job)...
