Question for you experts on nitrates, i love sometimes to have bolonga sandwiches on Dark 100% Wheat topped with lots of Onion,Jalepeno,Kale.... But is there any nitrate free deli meats, maybe ''healthy choice'' or some other brands out there. Thanks !!

We have Whole Foods here in Albuquerque.. so then the luncheon meats are prepackaged or in bulk and needs to be sliced by employee in deli...

I do not eat much of this product but I have on occasion bought the prepackaged and nitrate free and organic meats such as procuitto and salami, roast beef and turkey at whole foods. They were all great..Lisa

I just found a new product at Wal-mart a couple of weeks ago. It's Hormel all natural deli meats there are no nitrates or nitrites. I have tried the honey ham and the oven roasted turkey, they taste great and they are not that much more expensive than the other brands.
