I've been on the pill for 6 months now and would like to stop taking it, when is the best time?(like at the end of my pill pack?) and what are the common side effects when going off the pill?

Side effects vary from person to person. Some people can have regular periods and never have any problems.. some may have irregular periods for a few months until your body works back into it's own schedule.. some experience other things too.. talk to your doctor.. he/she will be able to explain the rest. Good Luck! BorderGirl 03-29-2006, 04:34 PM To avoid bleeding irregularities it is best to finish the pack. But nothing horrible will happen if you stop mid-pack. You will just get a withdrawal bleed a few days later. I did this per my doctor's instructions when I was having bad side effects. |
