OK I did a search and didn't find much - on this topic.

I am looking for a diaper that really traps the pee away from the baby's bottom etc. for night time - I think she will sleep longer...

I have a baby girl that is 2 months old. thanks for all of your input! ;)
Looking for diapers that keep the baby's bottom dry. LOL!

I always used Pampers Cruisers (They are called Pampers Swaddlers for sizes N-2, I believe) and they work great. Every other brand I've tried can't compete. My son sleeps 10 hours a night and he gets a new diaper right before bed and he's semi-wet in the mornings, but those diapers are WONDERFUL! :) They can be kinda pricey, but very worth it, IMO.

You can put an overnight maxi pad, or super aborbency pad in the diaper, it works great. Just stick it to the diaper in the middle, there ya go!

I use Huggies Supreme for at night and I buy them one size bigger then the current size I am using. They are pricey but I haved used them for 8 months now and love them.

The Pampers Cruisers/Swaddlers have the stretchy sides.

I have been using Pampers Baby Dry - they actually hold more than the Swaddlers or Cruisers......She is now 9 months old and we have used them since she was about 3 months.

I think the Cruisers are great also. The baby dry's do not have stretchy sides so they don't hug nicely IMO.

I use luvs, I know people think they are cheap, and they are half the size then other diapers, but I have not been able to find a diaper that holds that much pee. Also, night time changings I always rub my ds diaper area with A&D cream which lets the pee roll off his skin instead of soaking in.

I'm torn between the Pampers Swaddlers and the Huggies. I think the Pampers keep her dryer, but I like the fit of the Huggies better. I do notice with the Pampers that it traps the moisture in, sort of in a pocket. I like.

I only use Baby Dry but for nighttime only.

I actually called pampers and huggies about a month ago because i wanted to start stocking up on size 3 diapers. according to Pampers the Baby Dry is actually suppose to be used at night because they are made for long stretches. They also told me that the cruisers are the next stage of the swaddlers becuase they start at size 3 and swaddlers are only made Newborn - 2. After reading many posts on this site and others, I really think
that different diapers work differently on girls and boys. I know 2 people who
swear by Luvs and they both have boys.

My new dilemma is my dd is 15 1/2 pounds. She is still in size 2 which goes up to 18 pounds. Size 3 starts at 16 pounds. I remember that when I started size 2, she had alot of leaks because she was at that in between stage. I'm wondering how at what size your baby was when you switched over from stage 2 to 3. If she is going to be at this size for another couple months, I will buy more of this size, but I don't want to be stuck with the diapers.
