My mom is in Eastern Europe and she's been told a couple of times (since last late fall) that she might have PD. She has hand tremors, is not able to write with her right hand anymore and has stiffness in neck. She's had high blood pressure for many years. She gets depressed sometimes because she can't seem to find a doctor that would be able to comprehensively diagnose and treat her. She suddenly decided to try acupuncture. Has anyone tried it?
I really wish I could help her more, but do not know how, especially since she's not in the US and even if I brought her here, healthcare here is so expensive.

Update on my mom.... Since I wrote last my mom was diagnosed with PD and started taking Requip. She took it for about 2 months, but didn't see any improvement in her tremors.. She only felt really heavy and out of it each time she took the medication... She decided to gradually stop the meds and is trying some natural remedies for a while..
I am hoping that she will get better and won't get worse because of not taking any medication.
