anybody here with VN get worse if they eat a lot of salt? if so why? does it dehyrdate you or soemthing/?

Hi Scott,

Yup, high doses of salt (ie, a *really* salty meal) on an empty stomach can send me off the planet for a while until it is out of my system. Fortunately I don't much like salt anyway and rarely add it to food. Salt has a big effect on the concentration of fluids in the body. My guess is that a hosed vestibular system is very sensitive to these changes. It's not strictly a Meneire's phenomenon.

yeah, i was feeling pretty decent the last week or 2, and decided on monday or tuesday to have some really salted pistachios and ive felt crappy since.. so i was wondering if that was just coincidence or the salt.
