i was woundring if anyone could give me any info. on ANTABUSE :confused: ... my brother was prescribed this med. for his drinking and all she said is that, (it makes u really sick!) LIKE HOW SICK? :eek: so anything, anyone can tell me about this drug, would be very helpful!!! i havent looked it up yet, going to now, but i love this site and people are great here plus its more helpful, since they have experinced it or been there, done that!

I know of a woman from my AA meetings who was struggling with her inability to quit drinking. She was in trouble with the law, etc. and too was prescribed anitbuse - one day she drank and she said it was the worse illness she had ever experienced. She became violently and I mean violently ill.

That's all I know about that (Forrest Gump) :D

I drank on Antibuse & felt like I was going to die. I've heard that this can be deadly. Not worth the risk. MIke
