Hi...Just wondered how long it takes for amitriptyline to work. I have been taking it for 3 weeks and have just increased the dosage from 75mg to 100mg. I have noticed a slight reduction in the hand and feet tingles when i am still but whenever i move they seem to come back. I felt slightly better yesterday and thought it would be a good idea to tidy up the kids playroom. BIG MISTAKE! After less than 1/2 hour of hardly strenuos activity i was back in full on tingle city! And Exhausted! I thought amitriptyline was supposed to stop all the tingles... :confused:
