I stop taking the Depo Shot in January and i'm still having bad effects! I need some type of birth control but i hate to continue losing my hair. Last visit she did a thyroid test i should be getting the results soon.

It will take some time for the Depo to leave your system. I had bad side effects besides the hair loss from it and didn't really start feeling better till months after my last shot. I have the Pargard IUD for birth control. It doesn't have any hormones and it last for about 10 years.
