Hi Everyone

I hope you are all doing well.

Today I have had Labs for 8 months exactly.Granted Im still Dizzy but things are really looking up.For most of March I have been 98%.Just got hit by a head cold, sorethroat etc and dropped to like 95%, but I was actually quite surprised cos my dizziness wasnt that much worse, just the pounding headache was very bad!

Anyhow one thing I have learnt that everyone always told me was that it does get better.Only in month 6 did this happen for me and since then I have been getting better, naturally with ups and downs.Im even going baqck to work next week.I have had enough time off at home and it is time to get on with my life.I even had a bottle of wine at the weekend and didnt feel too bad the next day...a few months ago I couldnt have done that.

Hopefully month 9 will bring more improvement...I can live with 98%, but I really want to be 100%, still havent experioenced that...cant quite get there.
I hope I have the same trajectory as Subs and beat this in a year or so.I really feel like I have 'served my time' , it has been the toughest period of my life.

All I can say is keep exercising and try and keep a normal life as possible...above all have fun and laugh a little....it really helps!

A swift recovery to all.

Good on you Dizzyrascal!

Good luck with going back to work next week. I have just gone back to work this week after 6 weeks of decompensation after catching a cold. I still feel off balance most of the time but I am learning to cope with it better. I think when you get back into the real world and you are thinking of other things it helps you to feel better because you are not concentrating on your illness.

I too have not experienced 100% recovery in 17 months of this illness but I live with it and cope really well now.

Take care and keep smiling. :)
