There are autonomic seizures that can effect BP, also many people have an increase in their BP before and during sz. I've got an autonomic disorder that totally makes my BP erratic, and it often comes in cycles that are much like the seizures, so I've wondered if they're really a type of autonomic sz that can't be registered on EEGs since the autonomic system is so deep in the brain.... I take inderal for the autonomic disorder, regardless of what my BP is doing, and it helps some, but I still have problems at times, with no rhyme or reason, other than extreme temp changes- especially getting overheated, and the temp not staying constant enough to adjust to (did fine living in a hot SW state; worse in the midwest).
