I have been having all the standard symptoms for a cyst for about 3 weeks now. Bloated, lower back pain and pain in back of upper thighs, dull ache in & churning feeling in lower abdomen, some more insistent pain that comes and goes on the lower right side. I had blood work done about a month or so ago and my CA-125 came back o.k. I couldn't get into to see the gynocologist until next week though, so I am biting my nails as all of those symptoms are not good!

My question is, can a cyst actually make your leg start to hurt? I don't mean the whole thing, but right along the crease where my leg meets my pelvic area and then a little along my inner thigh. I am completely freaked out about that even more than the other symptoms. It has really start to hurt this past week.

I have similar pains...sciatic nerve pain...and pain in groin. I'd also be curious if anyone else has this. I have not been tested for cancer other than my pap smears I have every 6 months to keep a check on my hpv.

I have both of those pains that you're both talking about. I actually have the pain in my leg now. Its almost like a throbbing, but dull and constant at the same time. Its hard to explain LOL But like you said, its at the very top of my leg kinda towards my inner thigh.

As far as sciatic pain goes... I get that every once in a while as well but i dont know if thats caused by PCOS or if its caused by prior back injuries that I have lol

It's kinda comforting to know that I'm not the only one with leg and sciatic pain when it comes to cysts.

I realize this is a little late, but, yes, a cyst can cause leg pain. Six years ago I would get what was like sciatic pain down the back of one of my legs. This would happen when I would stand up for a while in one position, like washing dishes. I paid attention to it for a year, noticing it would only happen around ovulation and last until my period. I went to my gyn and said I must have something going on with my ovary because of the pattern of leg pain. Sure enough, I had a lemon-sized cyst on my right side. When he went in to remove it, it was actually my LEFT cyst that was the problem. What had happened was my ovaries had both fallen behind my uterus and criss-crossed somehow, pressing on my nerves to my leg(I had a previous tubal ligation, so maybe that let them travel?).
