I'm on the 2nd day of the birth control pill Alesse. do the sugar pills really have sugar? Will they affect my bgs? I'm on the pill to see if it helps my PMS symptoms.

The placebo pills are not actually sugar pills. They are simply there to remind you to take the pill daily. They are the same ingredients as the regular birth control pills without the hormone that makes the pill active.

That's good to know. Thanks. I'm on day 4 and still going through some of the side effects. And I do hope it 'helps" my horrible symptoms.
