I had my FU with the dr. He said that when I was on the cpap machine it made no difference with my sleep apnea. So there is another machine we are going to try out at my home for a while. I don't remember the name of it but it regulates pressure according to my breathing.
We'll see how it goes, I am suppose to get it this week.

Thanks for responding, But I don't think it is a type of cpap machine I am getting. I forget what he said it was. But when I had the cpap sleep study the machine didn't change anything. So it would do me no good to use one. I will post it when I kmow. It should be within a few more days.
Thanks

The machine I got is a cpap still it just has different setting so the pressure changes when I am sleeping according to my breathing.

I read this after I posted on the other thread. Would you mind telling us the brand or type so that we can do some research on it?

Thank you so much. We will look it up. He has an appointment in three weeks.

Hope the appt goes well for him. The reason they supplied this cpap for me is because when I went in and had my cpap sleep study the one setting did nothing for me.

The machine your Dr is referring to is an auto titrating cpap. This type of machine automatically adjusts the pressure within a range to your breathing profile. Actually, if you use one of these machines, you don't need a sleep study since the machine constantly adjusts to your needs. Works well, I have one myself.
