 I had a question. I have never been diagnosed with this, but for the last week when i wake up in the morning, both of my hands are numb. They feel like there burning and it takes a good 30 minutes for the feeling to come back in them. This has me very scared. Espicially i noticed that my left thumb pretty much stays numb throughout the day. Could this be a symptom of Diabetes?

can someone please tell me what the symptons are of this desease. Thanks so much for your help and god bless you.

The first symptoms of diabetes are usually intense thirst and frequent urination. Neuropathy, the problems with the nerves, is usually a much later complication.
You could be dealing with anything from carpal tunnel to simply laying on your hands. You might want to go in and ask your Dr about it. Good luck

Good advice, Mommy, actually I found out I have type2 because I went to my doctor to see why my feet felt numb and feeling like I had a very tight pair of socks on. Those of us with diabetes can only give our experiences, where a doctor can give you the correct diagnosis. Good Luck and keep us posted.

Carpal tunnel syndrome is a very real possibility, too. It is a good idea to have this checked out, though.
