I ve been taking Divalproex for a few months and gaining weight like crazy....dose any one else have the same problem.....summer coming and I look like a a ballon...... :)

Most epilepsy medicines (or at least the newer ones) have some sort of appetite side affects. You should try talking to your neuro about it. That's one of the VERY few that I haven't been on, so I am unsure of the side affects. But he/she may be able to perscribe something to counteract it. Hope that helps.

My neo is taking me off the Divalproex slowly while going on Keppra..wondering if any one has tried Keppra, was there any side effects that was hard on you that you had to change meds.....this is my 3rd on :confused:
