I am in my mid-50's, very myopic (-9.50), and hate glasses. I have been to a few seminars held by prominent vision correction surgeons in Southern California. I do now need reading glasses if I wear contacts for distance. Do patients my age have much success with laser vision correction? There are enough stories out and about that raise concerns for me.
Also, I have an article from a few years ago about a surgeon in Florida who documented patients who needed enhancements and those who did not .. only ONE of his patients needed an enhancement when performed during the year when there is less humidity, while others in humid times appeared to need more enhancements. Any thoughts on these issues?
