This is my first post on this section.....i believe my 79 year old mil's doctors thought she had bowel cancer when she presented with a dvt of unknown origin.....she had muscle wastage, weight loss, no appetite.....and then the unexpected dvt.
They did a ct scan and we have just received a copy of the results of that....we only had results, we have not heard if the doctor wishes to see her again.
Anyway....no sign of any malignancy in her bowel...BUT...there is a "stipulated nodule in the right lobe" and a left adrenal mass "that may or may not be sinister in origin"
Any advice?

Hi Tracey, sometimes it's confusing to read their lingo. I would think they would want to do a biopsy especially since it may be sinister in origin. See if they would consider doing a PET scan also.
Good luck and keep us posted.
Take care
