Hi
I am wondering if anybody saw 20/20 or 20/30 within the first couple weeks, a month later, 20/80 but then at the 3 to 4 month mark good at 20/20 or 20/30 or so? That is my hope. I don't want an enhancement as I posted before, it's only been 7 weeks since my procedure, still dry and painful on and off. Any comments? Thanks!

My eyes fluctuated significantly during the 6 months following my initial surgery. Drove me insane. I never got to 20/80, but was at about 20/50 at one point and I started out at 20/20. No idea why it was like that, but at about 4 months they stabilized at 20/30. You said you dont want an enhancement but I just have to say - I had one this past Saturday and I am seeing better than I ever thought I would. Within 4 hours of the procedure, I was blown away at how much better I was compared to 4 hours after the initial procedure. And by the next day - crystal clear. So I definitely recommend enhancement if at 6 months or so you're not happy with your results, and if your doctor thinks it would be beneficial to you. I am absolutely amazed - and believe me, I was almost despondent at one point because I thought I'd made a terrible mistake and it would never be right. I was crying at the drs office at about month 3 because my vision just wouldn't stop fluctuating. But - some people heal weird and I guess I'm one of them. Good luck!

Hi
Thanks for the reply and I am glad that your enhancement went good. Good luck in your recovery. I hope I get to 20/30,,,,it would be fine for me since I started out 20/400 or so. I have been a basket case emotionally and don't hardly eat and cry alot over regret. But you can't change it now. Just gotta hope for the best. I feel funny back in glasses but at least I can see. I am not quite 2 months yet so I hope to improve, and believe it or not, you have given me hope!

Good! Glad I could help. I know when I was freaking out I wished someone could have given me some hope - I know how you feel, I was there. I was SOOOO frustrated and regretting it. All I can say is - don't totally discount enhancement. Wait a while and see what happens, and what your dr recommends. The way I looked at it was - when your eyes are as bad as ours were - its not uncommon to need an enhancement, they told me that up front. Now - you're SO much closer, it's easier for them to nail it. I was apprehensive about the enhancement but man am I thrilled now - its better than I hoped. Hang in there! Eat!! Believe me - it will improve. Give it some time... :bouncing: <--- I love this guy.

You will have to let me know how your recovery goes for your enhancement. I feel like the biggest baby on earth since I notice every little pain or twinge. Thats another reason why I don't wanna do it again!!! What was your prescription before the first lasik? Do you worry about regression with the enhancement?

I had lasik surgery done last Aug. Initially I saw 20/20, the next day. My three week visit I saw 20/20 then my 3-4 month visit I saw 20/15!! My vision seems to be okay. Although I do have problems with halos, especially when I'm tired or night driving. Other people I've talked to have this too. Although, my husband had his eyes done 7 months prior...and of course he hasn't had one problem...vision is 20/10 and not halos...figures! I've heard the worst of horror stories and the best possible outcomes...I suggest following to the directions to the T and you'll be great!! Good luck!

Hello everybody. I had Intralas on March 3. It is now APril 25th. Still not the greatest of results. One eye good, the other very hazy/cloudy....when I put a drop of tear in, it does seem to clear up, if only for a few seconds. Is that normal for this stage of healing?

I readin one post that vitamin c helps/ along with flaxseed oil. Does that make sense?

I"m kinda freakin' out here.....starting to regret it. Hoping someone will have some positive feed back and let me know that it will get better.

I know I am probably being too anxious, but at 7 weeks, I thought I would be cool.
