The pain was about the same today as it was yesterday, which was bad. The pain meds wearing off after about 2.5 hours was much more noticable today, though.
Chunks of white stuff, skin I imagine, are starting to come off my tongue. I'm wondering now if the patches of white/yellow on my tongue in the back were from being burnt by the cauterizer?

Anyways, eating is a challenge. Smooth soups are really about all I can eat well. And I am getting tired of sweet things (jello, popsicles, etc). I really crave something hot and salty. Cottage cheese tastes good, but the curds get stuck down there, which is sick!

I may take a little trip out of the house tomorrow, to the grocery store. it will feel good to go out.

I forgot to mention that my fever went down today, so no worries there!
