I've had Glandular fever for at least the last 7 months. But it has only been diagnosed last week.

Are there anyways of gettig rid of this without getting tonsils out or waiting it out?

I'm in real pain with my throat, and just don't have much energy. However, i've read that stress can delay getting better. This doesn't really help, as i'm about to sit really important exams that i can't miss. I've already missed about 3/4 weeks since i've been i'll. But now i'm getting more stressed about exams and the thought of having a bad day and doing badly in them. If anything i'm feeling worse, and really need to do something about it.

Any ideas?

There's no need to get your tonsils out because of it. Unfortunately, the only thing to do is rest and wait to get better. You may be able to make arangements to take the exams at a later date because of your illness. Glandular fever is also known as mononucleosis or mono in the US.
