I have been feeling my ears have been shutting off my sound to hear lately. My audiologist wants me to see an ear doctor on Tuesday to see why I lost a lot of hearing during the hearing test. I want to know what an ear doctor will do my ears. I haven't been an ear doctor for a long time and little nervous about it. I hope I won't lose anymore hearing since I have been mild to moderate and now I am at moderate to severe.

thanks

Daffy - don't be afraid of seeing an ENT - he or she will be the best person to diagnose your hearing loss and help with the problem. Bring a copy of the hearing test with you. The doctor will check your ears - nothing painful. I've been going to an ENT for vertigo for years now. Make the appointment !!!

The doctor saw my hearing test and he said I lost little bit. If I still getting this shutting sounds, I will let the doctor and my audiologist about it. The doctor said my ears are fine.
