I hope someone can help me;;';
can tonsil stones cause you to feel like you have a lump in the throat when swallowing'?;'i had a ctscan that said everything was ok except i had mucosa thickening in my upper eosophigus';;the dr said that was from my sinus infection and post nasal drip';; now i am wondering if it could have been the stones showing up

In my experience the feeling that a tonsil stone is there feels like a popcorn kernel stuck on the side of my throat when swallowing. The 'thickness' I feel in the throat (which 'may' be what you are describing) is almost always compliments of my post nasal drip. Maybe it is just that mucous in your case and lots of it?? If you have been to the doctor I am almost certain they have ruled out an infection.
