:confused: I had LEEP done April 5th. The last two days I have had a slight burning sensation in my upper abdomen, off to the side on both sides. Has anyone else experienced this? Other then that I have some slight cramping and the feeling of pulled muscles in my lower abdomen. The burning isn't "bad" just annoying. Is this normal?

I personally, had mild cramping immediately after the LEEP, which was gone by the same evening, and that was that.... no pain, no residual cramping, no burning.

I think it merits a call to your doctor or advice nurse to see what they think about it... 5 days later just seems odd to me.

I had stabbing pains 'down there'. My dr. said it was the scab I was feeling. I am thinking you may get piece of mind to call your dr. just to make sure. I had very bad tugging sensations, too! Those were horrendous!

Ok so I decided to call the doctor. The more I thought about the more I figured I would rather be safe then sorry. I just didn't want to sound like a worry wart. I am waiting on a call back. I hadn't had the burning sensation since late yesterday afternoon but now it is back, so I just want to make sure.

Well my doctor called and he said he doesn't "think" it is anything to worry about. I love when they use that word, and that's pretty much all he said. So hopefully he knows what he is talking about.

I had a lot of twinges and odd things go on down there after my LEEP and after an endocervical curettage. I'm sorry your doctor was not able to give you more reassurance. I know that about two weeks after my hysterectomy I experienced a burning pain internally, it was horrible. It was the nerves healing from the surgery and thankfully it went away after a few days. Hope this helps a little. Glad your LEEP is done and over with, hope you get good results in your pathology report :)

A little better the burning is gone still feel like a small pulling pain every once in awhile. Nothing bad though. Thanks for asking Angel!
