Hello dizzies and even non dizzies!

I had my first day back today.Woke up feeling ok which was a good start, gradually got a little dizzier as the day went on (I have had a really bad cold and it knocked me for six). Was a bit annoying going back and everyone thinking I had fully recovered. Some comments people said freaked me out a bit.One was 'Gee my friend only had labs for six months, why hasnt yours gone'? another was 'Oh my friend had that for 3 years, hope yours doesnt last that long'

Combined with my recent setback that wasnt what I wanted to hear as I almost felt the same today as when I had stopped working.I am keeping positive I hope I will improve again and finally shake this by august (it would be a year by then).I really just want to feel normal at work!

So all in all I coped quite well, even being dizzy!!

I shall keep up the VRT and hope I get better again.

I will recover one day....I pray that it is soon!!

Hey DR
Good work going to work...that is the way to get through this for sure, you may have some tough days but in the end you will find your recovery will go faster when you are busy at work. Sometimes I think we think too much about this stuff and that extra focus keeps us from fully recovering.
It is great VRT to move around while focussing on something else so that will help you move forward also.
Keep it up, this is a great step forward.

Congratulations on getting back to work. I have worked throughout this whole ordeal and truly dont know how I have done it. My friends are supportive and say things like "why didn't you call off" or "go on a leave of absence" but its not an option for me. I just say, keep the faith, keep trying to plug away at it, no matter how awful I've felt ( and believe me, its been pretty bad at times) I have always continued to work, I think it helps as firechick said to keep the mind active, I know its hard, but just by taking that step you are moving in the right direction and I commend you for even trying.
Keep up the good fight!!!!
