Hi I am needing to know if you have had cervical cancer in the past does it put u at risk for ovarian cancer?

I have trouble with severe bloating and constipation, and swelling in my legs.
pain in my lower left side. I do have an ovarian cyst wich measures
1.2 x 0.8 x 0.75 cm. on left ovary
I have enlargement of both my ovaries.
and calcifications in my pelvic wich measures 3 mm.

i had cervical cancer in 1998 and they did a freeze treatment and was gone that i know of.
my question is, is it possible that there could be cancer of the ovaries that they are not detecting. because my family doc is very worried about this and is in process of sending me to a gyn/onc. as soon as he can get me an appointment.

and i was also told by another doctor that i could have an obstucted bowel that is causing this. should i be concerned that 2 differnt docs think something different? I am schedualed for a upper gi endoscopy on Friday the 14th.

am i at risk for ovarian cancer since i have had cervical.

one more question can calcifications be cancerous?

To my knowledge there is not an association between cervical and ovarian cancer. I'm not really well read on ovarian cancer so sorry, I can't help you with those questions. I hope you can get an appointment with the gyn-onc soon and get some answers.
